BUNKER

VT&S
members are shown above shooting bunker trap at Gator Skeet & Trap in
Gainesville, FL. The shoot was thoroughly enjoyable including lunch at
Sonny's Bar-B-Que also in Gainesville. Much thanks to Frank Woodward for
coordinating this event as well as contributions from experienced bunker
shooters Bruce Buck and Ron Stafford.

The above are photos from Wednesday's Fun
Shoot and Luncheon at Robinson Ranch. (click on any photo to enlarge
it). Clockwise from top left: photos 1, 2 & 3 show the folks, including
quite a few of the gals, enjoying the camaraderie of a good shoot and some
good food. Photo 4 shows Frank Woodward displaying a new plaque to honor the
memory of VT&S Club members no longer with us. Frank indicated the plaque
will reside in the RR club room. Photo 5 shows snowbirds Joe Campbell of
Illinois and Pete Tomaini of New Hampshire who together crushed the locals
while shooting protection and the following shoot-offs. Sandbagger Campbell
indicates this is his second consecutive win in the last two years. On a
more serious note Photo 6 shows the Alferman shotgun that blew up during the
ATA registered shoot on Saturday 12/12/09. It is not known what caused the
blow-up but pieces ended up on an adjacent field. Fortunately no one,
including the shooter, were hurt.
